Orange Shirt Day - Design Contest
Students (of any age) are invited to submit a design for Orange Shirt Day. The deadline is Friday, May 17th. Orange Shirt Day is a national movement that recognizes the experience of survivors of Indian residential schools.
The winning design will be used on the shirts for fall 2019. The winner will be invited to an event (we think it's in Edmonton) on September 30th, and be presented with a framed copy of their artwork.
More details: The official title is "Every Child Matters". You are welcome to include these words in your design, but it's not mandatory.
